The middle Marshall: big enough to fill a lounge, small enough to sit on a sideboard. A 50W amplifier drives the woofer and two 15W amplifiers handle the tweeters, and unlike the Acton it has an RCA input as well as 3.5 mm, so a turntable can plug straight in. The controls are the same analogue knobs, which is the whole appeal — you turn the treble down by turning the treble knob down.
What you get
- One 50W amplifier for the woofer and two 15W amplifiers for the tweeters, which is enough to carry a normal living room at party volume
- RCA and 3.5 mm inputs, so a turntable with a built-in preamp or a CD player connects without an adapter
- Frequency range down to 45Hz, so bass lines have weight rather than just outline
- Analogue volume, bass and treble knobs, adjustable on the speaker itself or in the app
- Bluetooth 5.2 with LE Audio readiness for phones and laptops
- No microphone and no voice assistant, which some households treat as a feature
